In 2011, at a homeless shelter, we met a beautiful girl named Angel. A homeless dog that clearly had suffered years of neglect. Years of not knowing what it means to be loved. Years of not having a soft place to rest. Years of probably many missed meals. Those years took a toll on her body.

But do you know what those years didn’t do? They didn’t cause her to be untrusting. They didn’t take away her happiness at playing with a ball. THEY DIDN’T BREAK HER SPIRIT.

Angel left us too soon. We hope the time we shared with her was enough for her to know how much kindness there is in the world. We hope it was enough for her to know that she mattered. That she had an entire community of people wrapping her in love.

So many of our friends that started this journey with us, with Angel are still here. So many more have joined us. Together, you’ve helped save the lives of many dogs. Dogs from shelters, dogs from hollows, dogs on sides of roads. Dogs that were homeless but healthy, dogs that were very sick, and dogs that had endured unspeakable cruelty. You’ve helped them all!

You’ve welcomed our pups into your hearts and given them unconditional love. You’ve given them a place to call home.

You’ve helped make the dream of starting a Spay and Neuter Program a reality. Because of your support, over 700 loved family pets Have Been spayed and neutered!
